LIAM & GRANT are now a couple of RASCALS

Multi-award winning directing duo Liam Kan & Grant Hodgson (also known as WHO? in the UK) have signed with NYC’s RASCAL FILMS piloted by EP’s James Golden & Pete Christy.

Kan & Hodgson have been a team for over ten years. Individually, they worked as editors, cutting commercials and promos for high-calibre directors such as Vaughan and Anthea and The Molotov Brothers, before becoming a directing team. Initially they focussed on music videos, producing multiple promos for the likes of 90s uber groups such as Take That, Wet Wet Wet and the Beautiful South.

In the last eight years, they have worked non-stop, shooting spots that include ‘David Blaine’ and ‘Creases’ for Peugeot, Virgin Trains ‘Falling In Love’, Volvic ‘Jog’ and the popular, long-running ‘Tomcat’ series for Bacardi Breezer. Other advertising credits include spots for Opel, Citroen, Kellogg’s, VW, Audi and Nissan.

While both stylish and cinematic, Liam & Grant’s work belies a sensitive and thoughtful direction towards casting and working with actors, enhancing the duo’s propensity for strong narrative content.

Check out their work:

AQUARIUS – “Stay Fluid”

WINDEX – “Head Games”

VIRGIN – “Return of the Train”
