PERRY SCHAFFER

After an education in business and law, Schaffer began a 20 plus year career in commercial production that has seen him in virtually every capacity.

After working his way up the ranks in line production, working with many leading production companies and directors, Perry began a long-term association with the late, great Griner/Cuesta & Associates.

In October 1991, Schaffer and director/photographer Neal Slavin formed the production company Slavin Schaffer Their work collected many industry awards including recognition in the AICP MOMA show. In 1997 Schaffer sold his interest in Slavin Schaffer and opened Schaffer & Co., since renamed SchafferRogers.

In the fall of 1998, Perry founded WheresSpot, the popular and ubiquitous internet community for Prisoners of Advertising

Perry resides in Brooklyn Heights with his wife Lisa – producer of commercials (and their lives) – and their “dog-ter,” Sally Sky. Two beloved kids – Jeremy and Susannah – are impoverishing him while attending Penn State. (Update! Susannah – Go Susannah! – graduated in May, 11.)

COREY ROGERS

After completing a pair of degrees in marketing and film at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School, Rogers made his way to Los Angeles to begin on the road to fame and fortune.

After stints in the production and marketing departments at KCET-TV and in the advertising/publicity department at Warner Bros. Studios, Corey shifted to representing talent in the commercial production industry.

He began as a rep for illustrators, animators and photographers at FFI in Los Angeles before relocating to New York to open a branch office – taking it from infancy to an industry leader in 3 years. A year and a half stretch as a rep/producer followed at commercial/broadcast promo company 11/11 Productions. He joined Schaffer & Co., now Schaffer*Rogers, in the spring of 2000.

Corey lives in Manhattan with his beloved, Tricia, and plays funky bass with PunkYogi.
